Orana School is a co-educational school in Weston, Canberra, Australia. It was founded in 1981. The teaching curriculum is based on the works of Rudolf Steiner. It currently enrolls children from pre-sessional kindergarten through to year 12. The school offers a wide range of subjects, and has a great focus on art and music. From halfway through Class Three to the same time in Year Four, students participate in the String Program, in which all students play either the violin, viola or the cello for at least a year. Although Orana is a small school ,and is the only school for Rudolf Steiner Education in the ACT.
